Yep, she knows and is supportive. When I was more actively building my gun collection she always asked to see anything I'd bought lately. We've gone to the range a few times over the years. My dad is indifferent to guns personally but supports the RKBA.

My parents live in CA. so you can bet when we vist there, there is no CC going on...
We do see them in another state every year where we drive to see them. They do not know I carry while we are there.
My inlaws do not know. They would FREAK. Funny thing is, he is x LEO (only a few years) and his brother is LEO retired.
Not sure my wife knows. I just don't talk about it much.

Mine does, her Ks permit arrived while I was there visiting. She also gave me a Glock G26! Kansas allows open carry so I got that out of my system as well

I got my mom to take the class with my GF and I. She's gotten more and more comfortable with them and owns a few now.

she found out mothers day. She said "oh that's nice, how many bullets does it hold?" told her 18. "oh that's a lot". Then we went to dinner, me, mom, wife, kids, glock, and by 18 other friends. Dad was out of country. she felt safe.

Back when I was in college I wanted my Ham radio license and was suprised when my mom and dad went and took the test with me. We almost ended up with consecutive call signs. So I was not so suprised when they went and got their CHLs too. They are both in their early 70's and both carry S&W airweight j-frames. My siblings think we are nuts. Glad to see I could still influence them from 782 miles away. They are among the few conservatives left in Colorado!

My mom? nope. She's pretty anti except for long guns (lots of hunting on her side of the family not to mention the number of snakes and skunks that dad has shot at the house).

Dad knows. He's shot some of my pistols. Doesn't really care for anything that wouldn't be in one of the westerns that he watched growing up though. He is however a much better shot with a rifle than me. He's 78, only owns a shotgun that's older than he is and a long time has passed since he qualified expert in the army but it doesn't seem to have affected his aim. Some things just come natural I guess ;)

She might, I don't remember if it's ever come up. She knows I own guns. I've been to her house after a gun show, and didn't want to leave my new purchase in the car. I've been to a gun show with her and my uncle, bought a pistol there. I gave her a pistol when she mentioned she was thinking about getting one ( on my birthday no less. That's how good of a son I am.) I think she knows I have a CHL, I think I mentioned that I packed in the bar I used to run. I know she doesn't have a problem with it either way.

I know my dad knows, we have discussed it. He likes that I do. Gave him a single action .357 for Xmas last year. That wasn't the question, tho...

My family is very pro-gun. My late maternal grandfather was, I believe, the last of the "Dixiecrats" as well as being incredibly well armed.

My mom doesn't know at all. Only the wife and kids really need to know anyway, since it is for our mutual benefit.

Yep. She watched my babies for me when I took my class. And then she listened to me whine about how long the state was taking and finally cheered with me when it finally arrived! :woohoo She was a little concerned about it given that I also pack a 2 year old, a 1 year old and a yet-to-be-born everywhere I go. But she likes that I can protect them too.

When she moves back to Tejas, she plans to get her CHL as well.

Wife and I both got our CHLs recently. My mom asked why we felt the need. Were things really that bad where we lived, and if so why don't we move. I politely reminded her that we recently moved away from Colorado. I think she took the hint. She may not agree with it, but she doesn't bring it up any more either.

My mother died in 1996. That aside, it would be none of her friggin business whether I carried or not, especially as an "old school teacher" she was pathologically afraid of all guns...lol.
