The local paper in Odessa (my old home town) is running an online poll this week (only) asking if gun controls should be "loosened" or "tightened". I know, I know, a poor choice of wording on their part.
But, anyway, when I voted earlier today I was only the 98th person to vote and it was running 59% in favor of loosening controls. Since then, it has jumped up to 198 votes, 78% in favor of loosening.
I wonder if some pro gun guy posted a link to their site on gun forums? Nah, probably not.

(hint: The poll is down at the bottom right of the page. Not that I am suggesting we should stuff their ballot box or anything like that. )

I would never condone loading up a poll in our favor!
But then again, voting early and often comes to mind for some reason...Hey they wrote the rules!
just remember, I and a few others, have never seen a poll regarding gun-control much ever go against our side of the issue...While the poll is active...
Its the way the results are posted, if they are posted at all, in that forum that go against us, or paint a negative picture for pro-2A rights...
But I am never surprised anymore...
