You can use the Calendar to mark days to visit your walmart at 7:00 AM to pick up some ammo.

its a calender for Feb, with a picture of empty magazines... because you have no bullets which is why you're hitting up the Wally World every Monday at 7am.

7am is when the manager on duty arrives with the key to unlock the area containing the ammo shipment for stocking. If you are early you have to wait until 7am and if you are much later, there are 2-5 other guys there to buy your ammo.

Ok, thought that was what you meant but wanted to make sure. Yesterday was the first time I heard anything about 7 am at walmart, but it is false. There is always someone there with a key. Here is my experience. Everytime I go to wm I go by the ammo case just to check. I periodically stop in on my way to work at about 5:15 am and have purchased ammo that early several times, just have to wait on someone with the key. Went to my local store yesterday morning at about 5:15 and to my surprise they had eight boxes of 9mm 115gr fmj (7 federal and 1 wwb). I asked the first stocker I could find for help and was informed of the 7 am rule. I went and found another and was told the same thing (she even said it was a new law) so I left and went to work. Told my capt at work about the situation (he needs ammo too) and our crew went in the firetruck to the store. At exactly 6:55 I approached the ammo case and about blew my top when I saw all the 9mm was gone. Well long story short is I got a manager back there and vented my frustration and asked why the ammo was sold prior to 7 am when I was told I couldnt buy it. She said that is not a store rule or policy but some managers are deciding to do it because most employees are busy stocking then and they dont want to be bothered with it. She then told me that if someone complains enough that they will give in. She also checked inventory on her little hand device and it showed they had 15 boxes in the back. They went and checked and sure enough it was in stock and let us buy more than the three boxes each because of our troubles.

The Walmart in Alvin brings out all ammo delivered the night before at 0730. They have instituted a 3 box limit, thus keeping a supply of bullets available all the way to 0745....

Now have 800 rounds each of .45 and 9mm, not including defensive rounds. I'm just gonna call it good for now.

Glad I do not need to wait to find ammo in the stores.

Here are about 750 bullets (.45 ACP 200 gr LSWC) I just sized and lubed tonight.

I also cast a couple of hundred .44 Mag 240 gr LSWC Hollowpoints. They'll get sized & lubed this weekend.

Did someone mention the ammo shelves at Walmart are bare? Geez, didn't notice.

WHAT?! Really? Because all the guys we talk to at the counter keep repeating the line "what we have out is what we have" there is NOTHING in the back, ever. We "always" bring everything out here to the counter. Interesting, maybe its different at different stores.

1/2 right... always someone with a key but the one who opens for stocking (at least at my 3 local walmarts) clocks in at 7a.

I meant there is always someone in the store working that has or has access to a key.
