Can certain prescriptions deny CHL?
Are there any doctor prescribed medications that can cause CHL to be denied?
Re: Can certain prescriptions deny CHL?
As far as I know it is not the medication which is restricted but the condition it is prescribed for which is the problem. So it is not the bi-polar meds which would get you disqualified but the diagnosis of bi-polar.

Additionally, depending on how the medication affects you, if you have your CHL you could be charged with carrying while intoxicated due to having "substantial impairment of mental or physical capacity resulting from introduction of any substance into the body". For instance, I am cautious when I take prescription cold medicines as they can affect my capabilities.
