Disposition of Charges

#1

Post by cwick »

First time visitor/poster to the site. I am in the process of applying for a CHL. I had a question on disposition of criminal charges. Back in 1998 I was charged with a Class B misdemeanor (non-violent offense). I first had deferred adjudication for the charge however I didnt meet the requirements and was officially charged with the crime. I called the county district clerk and had them send me certified copies of my case. When I submit my checklist and paperwork for CHL application should I include those certified copies with the packet? Or will this break the process? If it is a good idea to submit them what is the best practice for doing so? Thanks!

You'll have the charges listed on your application. Just submit the disposition with your application/bar code when you send it all in.
