(i) Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06.

No can do HighHandicapp. I, along with many others, have thought the same thing, but apparently the way it works in Texas is that they don't remove anything. They just make exceptions for it further down or say it no longer applies.
