FastPass Form Error

#1

Post by LainD »

So I just completed my online application for my CHL and I go to schedule my finger print appointment. My info was sent over to MorphoTrust but it put my address as my PO Box and it won't let me change that. Then when I go to print my FastPass, my middle name is in place of my first name, my last name in place of my first, and my first name is my middle name. :banghead:
Anyone else had this problem? Give them a call in the AM or wait until the appointment to get it fixed?

On another note, it was interesting to see that all their time slots until the weekend after next were completely booked. (Things that make you go hmmm?)

FAST and DPS has always had the issue with reversing the names
Show up for your scheduled appointment and they will fix it at that time, no worries

My first and last names were reversed... but no worries they can change all that when you go to get your fingerprints just show them your ID and all is good.

Thanks,
Daniel

1)Treat firearms as if they are loaded. 2)Point the muzzle away from non-targets.
3)Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot. 4)Be sure of your target and backstop.

As others said, not a problem... in my case the fingerprinting tech told me to write the correct name & address on the form and she signed it. I sent the form with the rest of the stuff and had no problems. (BTW, I had the same issue, with my PO Box showing up as my residence and my names all mixed up).

Well that's good to know. One less thing I have to get done before schools starts. :woohoo

Thanks for your help.

It switched my names, but because I was using Firefox with Firebug (Add-On), I was able to edit the supposedly-not-editable form myself.

From a technical standpoint, I wonder if they are using un-editable forms to pass data, if they even sanitize the input.

My name was switched on my FastPass form as well. I called them the next morning and they told me that it's a known problem and that they'd fix it at my appointment. It was no problem.
