Pro CHL Sign Question

#1

Post by gemini »

I was contacted by a business owner today. He was wanting to know where he could get a
"Legal Concealed Carry Permitted" sign, or something similar. After calling around and
searching in his area he was unable to find a supplier.
He could print something on his own, but wanted something that looked
"professional" etc. Any leads would be appreciated. TIA.

Any local sign shop should be able to make one to the exact size, color, and language that he wants.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

They're concerned with price. New business. They are on a very tight budget getting started.
Most custom sign work involves initial layout fees, minimum order etc. I think he's looking for something
"off the shelf" so to speak.

There are vinyl sign shops that will do this sort of thing pretty inexpensive. My wife had one made in Irving that was 12"x 16" and she had the lettering already done on the computer and saved to a jump drive and it cost her about $15.00 I think.

A lot is in the set up. If they have the graphics already loaded then it is a lot less expensive.

Wonder where Chappell Hill Bank got theirs ... whoever made it may still have the stuff to make more.

I've had many similar signs made for under $20. It's just a matter of entering the wording into a program, picking the size and color, then sending it to a machine to be cut out. Easy to install on a window yourself. Just spray a little soapy water on the window place it where you want, squeegy from the center, and pull the backing paper off.

Thanks. I'd forgotten about this signage. Contacted them this morning. Left the sign maker a message. Waiting on his return call.

edit: Received return call within 5 minutes. Got info needed. All is good.

Love this! Going to make one and post it at my driveway.

I own a sign & apparel business, and I would love to help them out! I can't do it for free, but depending on what type of sign they want, I could make it pretty darn affordable.
Feel free to pass my info on to them if you want to. My business email is info [at] stitches-n-stones dot com.

This goes for anyone else who is looking for one (or any other type of sign or custom apparel) as well!
