Locate the CHL class southeast of Austin

A few years back there was a CHL class out on a small private range, onsite classroom southeast of Austin, south from Bergstrom airport, maybe generally towards Lockhart.

I took mine there; was very happy; now need to renew an trying to find Website, Name, phone, or any contact information you may have or be able to guess....

They used to do a (modest) sandwich lunch.

Way out a bunch of little rural roads from south of the airport.

All attempts to help appreciated....

I took my class at Lonestar Gun Ranger with Ross Bransford IIRC. Hope this helps.

Same here. Did it with Ross at Lonestar but they served a bar-b-que lunch. You can't go wrong.

Thanks, that might be it, but I don't think so.

This place was over EAST of I-35, a little south of Austin, down HW 183 from the Airport towards Lockhart, then a bit further to the east.

Probably northeast of Lockhart but definitely east of HW 183 and south of HW 71 & the Airport.

And I do appreciate the help -- Lonestar even sort of sounded right.

Lonestar is the only range in that area I am aware of. Be there on the 26th with Ross and Dottie to do me renewl, great people. AND my wife is joing the ranks, I am proud of her!!!

I got confused when Googling for LoneStar, seems like there is more than one company calling themselves LoneStar and doing CHL (or maybe it's a branch or something.)

Pretty sure that was it. It's out towards Red Rock, east of HW 183 and the range pictures look (just) right!

Also, the name sounds right.
