I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Bike Nashbar has some good deals on bags.
Re: Bicycle Carry
I have always carried a Camebak and this year decided to buy one that allows me to carry my CW9 much easier. I use the Camelbak HAWG. It has pockets on either side of the belly strap that allows me to use a cheap Uncle Mikes Pocket holster and position my pistol in there. I also attached a piece of para cord to the zipper so I can find the zipper faster for a draw.

Seen someone with a kydex holster zip tied to the top and down tubes. Not that I recommend that...

Re: Bicycle Carry
I use a simple fanny pack to hold my Glock 27 in rides. Not perfect, but does the job for me.

My usual carry is a Kel-Tec P3AT... it fits in my bento box...

This isn't the one I have, but it is similar... and the brand name of this one is humorously appropriate.
