We shall see, I actually spoke with my father about this he doesn't believe anything that happened to me or places Ive been would be against me (Id trust his judgement 22yr Airforce vet and other related security) again one would think if there was ever any notes about mental health it would have stopped me from buying firearms, right?

(foster care / homes / institutions - reason: he was always on leave and mom just had "issues" according to him and I guess it was better for me. horrible I know)

Im waiting for the DPS site to update or FAST to accept my information (Trace and DL number are registering INVLAID, internet went out after submitting payment and couldn't do the SIGN UP NOW option) so I can pay and setup to get my prints, passport photos are done, CHL-6 done, class is as simple as saying Im ready

BTW would is it necessary or better to get a Notary to witness my signature on the CHL-6 form?

thanks for all the answers, really

I'm guessing your past record was all juvenile. I would go ahead and contact the county and get a disposition, because I'm betting DPS will be asking for it. Maybe even call them and update your application to include it. It certainly isn't bad enough to disqualify you and no point in having your plastic being held up by it. Like mine was because I didn't send in the right stuff.
These views expressed on this post are not my own, but rather randomly generated computer gibberish and in no way should be used to judge the author's IQ or mental health.

I don't know if I was told right, but juvy medical records were dumped at 21 and adult records are dumped after 7 years... This coming from a long time doctors secretary

Criminal past, did a back ground check on my self nothing

Was informed at L1 that they mainly only look for assassults, DUI, drug charges, arrest records (stuff on that caliber)

As far as I'm being told FBI would have medical conditions on file (I say that with proof now) and if there was something on me I'm sure I'd be denied firearms

I'm not as worried about anything, and if medical comes up that's covered (as far having to be "cleared ok" because of where I was at)

Can't do anything until I take a class next week or end of august, so I'll practice till then

And I'm not posting 100% facts, but just information from sources involved with these type of things that have never steered me wrong YET
