Getting my Walther PPS painted pink

#1

Post by Leah8746 »

Hi, I'm new here :coolgleamA:

So a few months back I bought my first handgun.. A Walther PPS 9mm, it's an awesome gun and I love it. I also took my CHL class and applied for my CHL back in March (still waiting to hear back on that).

Im a 21 year old college student and I'm kind of girly at times and I really want to get my Walther painted pink, zebra, or leopard print (just at the bottom)

Would it be horribly wrong of me to get my gun painted something so girly?

Thanks ;-)

A long time ago, the Lone Ranger had silver bullets so I reckon you can have a pink PPS today.

I think duracoat and cerakote can be done in those colors. Solid pink is cheaper because you dont have to airbrush it.

Nothing wrong with a woman having a pink gun.

If it gets them shooting, so be it.

How about Zebra stripes? Like one of Ted Nugent's fun guns.

I did not mean for this comment to come across as rude or demeaning in any way, I just personally don't get it. If a pink, purple or even glitter painted gun will get more women involved then I am all for it.

Duracoatis the way to go. Check the link to see their products. It's easy to do yourself or if that's outside your comfort zone, you can find the name of a certified finisher to do it for you.

I have very few bone stock firearms, I have to make them MINE. Paint it how ever YOU want it, have fun with it.

Wow thanks guys! I've been looking for sites about painting guns so I'll check those out! ;-)

My boyfriend always wants to use my gun because its way cooler than his, so I figured if its pink no one will ever want to use it except me

I'm actually kind of leaning towards leopard print paint. A lot of girls have pink but very few if any have leopard print :coolgleamA:
