JJVP,
My intent wasnt to post EVERY place that you can, only questionable places.

Example:
Halcyon Coffee House Bar & Lounge
Primarily a coffee house but, they have a full bar. One would assume they are 51%.
They are not.

Would be nice to be able to confirm a place like this on texas3006.com

While I understand what you want to see, I disagree that Texas3006.com is the place to do that. Texas3006.com sole purpose is to post places that are posted with 30.06 signs. If you want to create a place that post "questionable" places, then you should be able to create such a website. Otherwise a better option is for the TABC web site to specifically identify those 51% places as requested on this post

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=43705" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That in my opinion would be a better way to do what you want rather than have Texas3006.com change its mission, which as far as I can tell is to post 30.06 posted places and not 51% places.

Have you actually ever looked at texas3006.com because there are a ton of 51% postings on the site, and 51% sign is an option when you submit a new entry.

Yes, Stubb's is 51%. I had to do an about-face and head back to the truck when I went to lunch there a couple weeks ago.

No, I looked at the sign that said 51% (in red). I'm not sure I understand what you're asking

SIGN=RED
or
SIGN=BLUE
on the license itself, rather than a sign they put up which may or may not be the correct one.
The license itself is supposed to be displayed for the public to see.
Business owners sometimes put up the wrong sign if they are colorblind or haven't learned their colors yet.

Oh wow, I was not aware of that. I'm not sure if they have that up or not.

license is usually in a cheap picture frame on the wall by the cashier or bar along with city/state health dept/food service licenses, tax number, business license, first dollar they made or whatever.

I think they can get fined if it isn't publicly displayed.

I'm glad somebody else caught that, as I had a small chuckleupagus, my own self.

In regards to Russel's site, maybe you could PM him, also. He's obviously been on here recently.
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Yes... sort of... While they are an awesome BBQ joint they are also one of the best concert venues downtown. During a concert all they do is sell alcohol... LOTS of it!
