I am confused as well but as previously posted I don't carry or leave my CCW in the truck there also because last year I had my car broken into while there on a long Dr.'s visit. You guys are definitely right about the parking there as well, there aren't nearly enough parking spaces.
Also I hope everyone enjoys Veterans Day today.

Re: Gun On Veterans Administration Property?
Today I had a job interview with the Texas Veterans Commission at the Houston VA Hospital. I entered through one of the gates on Almeda Rd and saw no signs stating that it was illegal to carry on VA property. The building I went to was posted and had metal detectors. Incidentally, while waiting for my interview a campus police officer, not sure what university he was associated with, came into the building, went behind the security desk and proceeded to disarm and place his weapon in a drawer which the security officer locked and gave the LEO the key.
I saw no VA police, only a few security guards, both in the building and the parking lot. Parking is definitely lacking as some have stated.
