New Mexico appears to honor Texas CHL permit.

handunlaw.us is your friend. Anecdotally, I carried to Angel Fire and back this past March with no problems. Note that there is a change in restaurant carry going into effect (or has already done so) this month.

I don't know about that one, but I've been to more than one men's retreat at Sky Ranch in Texas, and there were specific instructions to leave firearms at home. I partially complied, and left mine in the car.

Ahh New Mexico. I hope to buy land there soon up high on the side of a mountain. Then someday retire there miles away from everything  .

I just got back last Sunday. Take a jacket. I did not carry mine as I took a group of kids in a bus. I did see where their rules stated no weapons. Leaving it in your car should not be a problem. That is the last place on earth where you would need a weapon this day and time. You may want it with you if you go to Santa Fe though. I spent some time in the ER with a student and the nurses there said they have quite a few GSW's on weekends that are gang and drug - alcohol related. Anyways have fun and enjoy!

In 58 years they have not had an incident. I'll take my chances there. If they get past the security gate and climb over a few mountains to get to me, my time on earth was up and I will gladly go.
