I recently took my daughter to the Cheesecake Factory at North Star mall in San Antonio (an otherwise good restaurant in my opinion) for her 18th birthday. At the entrance to the restaurant is a 51% sign. I had no idea nor do I believe that they make more than half of their profits from alcohol.
Does anyone here know any differently?
What is the web address to the TABC people?

I just went to a Fox and Hound the other day and they had both the 'Unlicensed possession' and the 51% sign up so I emailed them. They responded quickly and had forwarded my concern on to the local branch.
I have heard from other people the TABC is pretty quick to take down incorrect signs. Funny thing is I'll bet almost all of these kinds of requests/complaints come from CHL holders. They are probably the only ones who would even pay any attention to that stuff.

51% Signs and TABC
I previously posted about my visit to the Cheesecake Factory at the North Star Mall in San Antonio and their 51% sign at the entrance. Here's an update. Today I received the following e-mail response from TABC. It had been sent earlier, but for some reason, I did not receive it. I'm glad they resent it.

I will forward this to the San Antonio District Office and have them ensure that the Cheesecake Factory is displaying the appropriate sign.

hey - we need to go shoot sometime. I didnt know I had CS buddies up here.dolanp wrote:Perhaps so, but they had both of the signs up so I couldn't tell which one was the "right" one.Suckhow wrote:Fox and Hound does derive at least 51% of their sales from alcohol
Fox is a bar, so it doesn't even technically need a 51% to keep us out. There is alot of LEOs htere though.
