New Texoma Medical Center in Denison not posted

The old TMC had the out-of-date "State law prohibits carrying a handgun on these premises" stencilled on the glass which I regularly ignored. I wondered if they were anti- or if the signage was a leftover that wasn’t removed.

They built a new complex recently and I had occasion to use it for the first time. No sign of any type anyplace. It’s been in use long enough to have the signs up if they wanted them so I assume that they really don’t care. Score one for our side.

Nah, almost directly on the line between Sherman and Denison, off of Highway 75 and F.M. 691. It's about a 1/4 mile from my work.


I never noticed the posting, or lack thereof, when I went there. Of course, it's only been one time, and I was there for a friend crashing his motorcycle, so I literally didn't look for signs. Good to know it's not posted. Thanks OP
