I've heard WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to many stories of LEO and Prison guards who "Taunt" people while their locked up? Not only is this Childish, but there is blowback in the community, I can only imagine the harm that this behavior has caused to Police Cooperation with communties to actual police being targeted for crimes.
Did you just call me a liar? Childish? Harm to the police? What about harm to our civil liberties? You could be next.
I think he was referring to the LEO's/Guards behavior as childish. Not you.
He then was saying how this childish behavior towards some people in the cells causes the backlash at the police, once they get Out of the cells and back into public.
yes, that is correct. I was saying they (The cops) were being childish, not you) . Sorry for the confusion.

What bothered me was that they were practically high fiving each other after they took my gun and Lic. The arresting officer told me that I just lost my Lic.(as if he were the judge) with glee. The sergeant told me that I probably won’t get my gun back. Both are BULL.
Oh, when I was down town in back of the car an officer walked by and asked the rookie what I had done. He said I had a Gun. He forgot to mention the little fact that I had a Lic.
He was told "good work."

Wow -- Professionals all! Were they driving cars that required a crank to start 'em? (Vague reference to the Keystone Cops)

WOW!!! This forum has rules that forbid me the right of free speech or I would have a biscuit over this one!!! Those cops are seriously in need of justice!!! I am actually bothered by the fact that there are several cops in that department who are cowards of the lowest kind. I always knew there were a few here and there who got picked on too much in high school, but I never dreamed there could be several punks on the same force.

What model weapon were you carrying and in what holster? I am still wondering how you got outed. What style shirt was covering it? The style I carry in never prints. I carry low so the grip just barely clears the top of my belt. This helps to keep the grip from clinging to the shirt. Now when I carry tucked, the two clips from the holster show, so a cop with an attitude could give me grief I guess.

This has degenerated into mindless cop bashing. I will consider that the time for intelligent conversation has passed for this thread and no longer post on it.

It has not really moved into cop bashing except remarks directed at those cops who were making snide and unprofessional comments in this case.

However, I will remind everyone to keep it strictly on topic and make any responses relative to this thread and follow the rules.

Can you give us more details on things that won't identify you or the agency? Especially more about your carry rig. Gun. Holster. Clothes. Etc.

Glock 36 -Bianchi 100 Professional IWB Holster. Loose, untucked. Long sleeve t shirt. Sounds like my grip stands a bit higher than the one described above. I really like the holster and would hate to change it. I'm not sure how it was spotted but it was. I just think a tap on the shoulder and a Do you have a license for that ? would have been a better response.

I would make sure you can speed dial your attorney on your cell phone just in case.

I would love to know how he spotted the weapon. I carry with that same type clothing all the time and I know it can't be seen. Is it possible you went through a metal detector without realizing it? It does not justify the flagrant violation of your civil rights by those rodeo cowboys, but it would be nice to know what outed you. Like I said above, I keep my weapon low so it doesn't cling to the shirt. I noticed a while back that my 1911 grip would cling to the shirt and outline the grip perfectly. Just read original post...got you while on the premises.
