Just checked online about the progress of my CHL. Before it always said "Processing Application". Now they posted
"No application or license/certificate active." What exactly does that mean? They've had the app since the end of March. Thanks

Don't get your hopes up but I think that means you're just before getting your plastic, or...they've lost your application.

Call 'em tomorrow and ask what it means.

Try it again. I think you hit the wrong button when you signed in and clicked the instructor CHL rather than the regular CHL status request.

It means they're not even pretending to work on your application. That could be because they haven't started, because they finished, or because you clicked the wrong link. Hope it's the second reason!

I received three of the above answere until they sent me a notice that my finger prints were not good with a letter saying to get electronic prints. I did that and mailed the electronic prints back to the sate. Now there is a statement saying no application or license /certificate active. I guess time will tell. A lot of time.

Well, just got off the phone with DPS and found out what this means (what was posted). I did indeed hit the wrong link by accident. According to them, when that note appears, it's just what it says, inactive. Got on line again and made sure I hit the correct link and we're back to "Processing Application". Thanks guys, had me worried for a while. I enjoy the site.
