I carry an LCP in a(PocketHolster.com) holster that has a back flap that prevents printing on my jean's pockets. It makes it look like a wallet. I carry in front pocket when carrying my MK-40 at 4'oclock as primary defense. I carry LCP in back pocket when I can't carry my MK-40 on my side. I love this pocket holster. It covers the trigger, fits in all my wardrobe pockets, in jackets, and inside vest pocket. At bedtime I transfer my LCP to my ankle holster. My LCP is ALWAYS with me when I sleep, just in case. I recommend both pocket and ankle holsters as good concealment options.

Yes Rex B. I take it off only when I shower.

What kind of ankle holster do you have?

I pocket carry a Kimber Tactical Ultra in a Mika holster. Usually wear either 5.11 or Orvis Zambezi Twill cargo pants.

Good point. I always have to remember to move my knife to the left side when I pocket carry (At least there will be something I can reach)

Yes. I recently was first-responder to a gunshot wound that involved putting a Kahr into front right pants pocket -- and the trigger encountered a pocketknife. The .40 bullet entered the thigh, traveled down the femur, and exited above the knee. Gold Dot, expanded perfectly. Luckily it missed all major blood vessels, no bone damage, just a nice long bullet hole. The guy is still limping a bit (happened about a month ago I think, I posted elsewhere about it then).

I like pocket carry too, but be careful.

North American Arms Pug .22 Magnum frequently in right front pocket.
I don't consider that as a real "combat pistol" or anything, but I suppose it's better than a sharp stick.
That's usually a backup to a more potent gun. But it's sometimes the only thing I've got on me when mode of dress and level of discretion doesn't allow for something bigger.

Fangs, the ankle holster that I use for my LCP is made of nylon, has a retainer strap with velcro to keep the LCP in place, has a wide elastic band that wraps around my ankle secured with velcro. The trick to wear comfortable is to wrap it at an angle tighter at bottom where ankle is thinner, but overall loose enough not to cut blood circulation or leave band marks. It's inexpensive, $15--$20, but I like it, it's very light even when carrying LCP. Bye.

Good advice. Gangrene will cut down on your draw, etc. :smilelol5:
