I was also under the assumption that Sea World is an amusement park so I did not carry last summer when I went. But I did not know that amusement parks had to post a 30.06 like churches and hospitals. Wouldn’t have mattered much anyway as I was participating in the swim with the seal lion program and its kinda hard to conceal a SW1911SC (my only carry piece) in a wet suit.

I guess I’ll carry next time I make it out there.

I think that Sea World is too small to officially be an amusement park (by TPC definition).

Well the lack of 30.06 posting is good news, as we plan to take the kiddo there this summer probably.

Just did a Google search on --Seaworld, prohibits, handguns-- and got no direct hits. I think I would carry on the body at least to get in if it were too hot to carry that way all day. I just hate purses and backpack carry though, especially in a place that you know will have lots of children (or people looking for unattended backpacks). It only takes leaving it unattended for a few seconds to have something awful happen.

FYI, All bags are hand searched at the gate at Seaworld.
