Haven't been to market hall in a while (years). Do you know if this event is CHL friendly or 30.06?

It's usually 30.06.
I might be there. If I am, I'll be in my "IDF" t-shirt, it annoys the neo-nazi's I see there

It's both. ;-) Definitely 30.06 posted. "Carry guns" concealed and open everywhere, but unloaded (hopefully prior to entry) and zip tied at the door.

I forgot the number but think DCSA table is about the 3'rd or 4'th isle off the west wall and about 60 yards front the front. Table faces west.

An old guy (Willis) may be there with me to sell several of of his black powder guns. In fact yesterday we took one of the big civil war era "carry guns" into the range to "unload" it. It had only been loaded for 20 years ... ;-)

I always get a chuckle out of the fact that the gunshows @ Market Hall are 30-06 posted while the jewelry shows are not.
Do you know about the TEXAS State Rifle Association?

A big crowd today (Saturday) up until the last couple of hours. Lousy weather likely had something to do with it.

Since were on this topic there is a guy that was at the Big Town show selling reloaded bullets, different quanities but I am intrested in the 1000 rounds that come in a military style ammo box for $107.

Does anybody have anything to say for or against this idea? is it good ammo to shoot.

I suspect he is going to be a Dallas Market Hall and I may go and pick some up

Thanks in advance

Mike

I'll sell you 1,000 rounds of brand new factory ammo in a military style ammo box for $100 even.

(Hmm...$7 for the box, a bit under $20 for a couple boxes of .22lr...just need to find a couple dozen suckers - I mean customers - and I'll be able to get that tricked-out 1911 I've been wanting)

stroo - sorry ya missed us. Table is L-16, about 40' in from grey curtains over great big window on long southwest wall. somewhere between Bachman and Clips & Mags. Signed DCSA up again for same table for January (altho I'm not sure yet if I'll work it.)

Some of the "best" ammo deals yesterday seemed to be from Collins Cartridge Co. near far SW corner. Lots of cases of big mfrs' 45 and 9mm going out of there on dollies.

Gotta grab some breakfast and head that way ...

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, I bought a couple of baggies of a thousand FMJ .40 S&W. Flawless performance and even loads.
