Good afternoon! I spent today with my wife and daughter shopping at The Domain in Austin. I noticed a “gun free” sign in a store and when we ate and Shake Shake, they had 3 signs...
“The unlicensed possession...” 30.06 and 30.07. When I took my class many years ago, the blue sign was explain to us saying “The licenses possession” would be fine.
So my question, do these gun free signs hold any weight, and how do you respond to the 3 posted signs (with more than taking business elsewhere)? Also, in searching their site just now, I did find a Code of Conduct prohibiting weapons, but never saw that sign anyway. Any insight there??

The Blue Sign is because they sell alcohol for consumption on the premise but are not a 51% establishment (per TABC). IF this was the only sign you would be fine entering with as an LTC.
Since they additionally posted both 30.06 and 30.07 signs they have effectively told you that you, as an LTC, cannot carry concealed or openly in their establishment.
All three signs are independent of each other and yes all three have weight depending on if you are an LTC or not.

Makes perfect sense. Honestly can’t recall seeing those 3 together at other establishments.

it's "Simon Properties". If it were enclosed it would be posted, but since it's outdoors and there are apartments they can't really post it.
