carry at Wild Basin Preserve in Austin
Would it be legal to carry at Wild Basin Preserve. It says on the web site it owned by both St. Edwards and Travis. I am thinking it is not legal but wanted to get some input.

Unless it is posted, and there is no listing for it on Texas30.06.com, I would carry. Being owned by a University, does not make it a "campus" JMHO

And even if it is a campus, it would still have to be posted 30.06. If by Travis you mean the county, then that is public land.

County park. Research Center is owned by St. Edwards, which has opted out of campus carry, but as previously pointed out, they have to post 30.06. Worst case, you could visit the park, but couldn't go in the building......

I was recently at Wild basin and did see a 30.06 sign at the entrance. It seems like this sign would not be valid since it is a county park that also is owned by St Edwards. Would this sign be valid? It seems to be in a gray area
