Due to some poor judgement and a bachelor party I received a PI about 6 years ago. My question is whether this could cause a delay in my processing. I had one other class c misdemeanor 17 years ago as well. I had sent all the paperwork that I could track down with my application. The one from 17 years ago was a dead end. I called every JP and law enforcement agency in the county and they found no record. I did list since I did not want it to miraculously appear and I did not list it.
Not a trouble maker, but I did use poor judgement a couple of times.

Since a class C misdemeanor (except disorderly conduct) is not a disqualifier, shouldn't be an issue. Even if they were class A's they're over 5 years, they wouldn't be an issue. If you were arrested for any of them then you should disclose on the application.

Thanks ScottDLS. I was arrested, but I did not think they would be an issue. I hate that I even have a record and am a little self conscious about it. I disclosed both to be safe and just don't want to be delayed any longer than the "standard" application time.

You have no more of a "conviction" record than anyone with an undismissed speeding ticket in Texas, though it's a bummer that you got arrested.
