34 sign complaints against governmental entities...

For my part, I have filled a complaint with TXDCF that the Fort Worth Zoo Child Care Center is not in compliance with many state laws, including:

- not having the proper amount of sleep mats or cribs.
- not having a designated storage area for every pupil with their name on it.
- having pay phones- this against Texas law for child care facilities
- having immediate access to chickens and reptiles (petting zoo)
- insufficient number of bathrooms for capacity of facility
- locking doors on bathrooms that are above a child's reach

...and that is just what I could think of off the top of my head.

Don't they serve beer? That one should be the biggest no-no. A child care facility that serves booze? Really?

This... and being a Child Care Center doesn't get them out of 30.06(e). Presumably the Child Care Regulations are only applicable to the place where the care is taking place, and even then there is no criminal violation for the LTC.

Their argument that they are a School is laughable and even if upheld, still wouldn't apply to outside areas, walkways, and non-buildings. Really tempted to drive over there and open carry, but I just can't quite bring myself...lest I get jammed up with the "ride".

My fiance loves the Houston Zoo. After they put their signs back up, I have boycotted. However, as soon as the signs come back down after the AG ruling (which is taking waaayyyyy tooooo loooonnnggg), I will be OCing there on the first day I can to rub their noses in their lawlessness (I'll be polite of course).
