I take it that you're still somewhat new to carrying, and lack confidence in the law and your rights. That's perfectly understandable, and the confidence will come with experience. Carrying with confidence would mean knowing that a Quakecon is not a sporting event, and since it's a private venue, you're legal to carry there in the absence of a 30.06 notice.
