My CHL expired a couple years ago. I read around here and saw that the law changed for renewals, but does it still need to be within the first year?
I guesds I don't mind doing the full course again anyway, as my wife is a first time applicant, and I figured I'd go with her.
What about renewing a very lapsed CHL?

If your license has been expired for more than 1 year, you will need to start over.
