The TexasFirearmsCoalition.com has always been https and it still is. The $10 donation is paid through PayPal that is also a secure site.

That's the problem I have. Name, address, DOB, phone, email, all in the clear.

Chas,
I guess I had an issue with the registration. I got a confirmation that I am a member. However, I was not forwarded to Paypal site for donation. Please PM where to send the Paypal.

Thanks,
Beiruty,

I had the same issue last night as Beiruty - I have 4 confirmation emails that I am a member and was never redirected to a PayPal page.

I got the same as others. Email saying I am a member but no pay pal. Not charged to my card either.

I also had issues a while back when I signed up. Email confirming membership but never charged.

Charles - When you access the page via TFC it shows as a secured (https) site. When you access via chlsunited.com it shows in the browser as unsecured.

All -

https://texasfirearmscoalition.com/inde ... l-s-united appears to be secure.

I'm not getting that message, but chlsunited.com is redirected to the TFC website. That may be the problem.

There could be two reasons for this. First, your browser settings may prevent it being redirected to PayPal, but I'd be surprised. I just learned that if you reach CHLs United via www.TexasFirearmsCoalition.com, everything works fine. However, if you use www.CHLsUnited.com, then the link to PayPal doesn't work. I have no idea why this is the case, so I also have no idea how to fix it.

Charles, I just now saw the first request post at about 4pm today which is Sept. 29th.
I would have liked to have joined and would have, had I was made aware of this request earlier. This was only day one!
Thank you for all your hard work!

I will keep an eye on this until I become a senior member. As you can see, I have quite a ways to go!!!
When I get there I will certainly add my support.
