Hello ladies! I was wondering if there is a pistol club for women in the Fort Worth area. I found a women's shooting club in Dallas, but it seems to be more geared towards women who hunt. I do not hunt, but I would like to get together with other like minded women who can share their wisdom with other women. If there isn't one around here, I many consider starting one, although I'm no expert by any means regarding guns or shooting. In fact I'm still pretty new at this, but I would like to be good at it.

I am one of the founding instructors for the Ladies Class at Pearland Sportmans Club. If you would like any info on what I learned in getting a class started send me a PM.

Pm llwatson as well she is in your neck of the woods and very knowledgable.

Hi there! If you started a pistol club, I would be interested in joining/help start one. I am fairly new to guns, and think it would be a great idea to have a "Women's Pistol Club". I asked my husband's thoughts on it, and he is very supportive about it.

If there are other women here who are in the Fortworth area, and would be interested in starting our own little pistol club, please pipe up. I have never done anything like this before, so I'm not sure how to go about it. Maybe we could just try to get together first, and see what happens.

DFW Ladies, hang in there. I'm in the processes of trying to set up a womens-only shooting match at Dallas Pistol Club. It would be for women only, some shooting, and some instruction to be taught and run by women. It's in the preliminary stages right now and may be a few months down the road. I want to get CompVest's help with the details in this before the club finalizes its plans.

A Dallas group..........FABULOUS...........I'll keep watching this post for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

Any idea when this will be set up? I'm quite interested, especially since it will be a women's only class. It would be easier to join an already established club in the area, rather than starting a new one from scratch.

We're actively working on this now, but I honestly can't say when. There are a lot of details to work out.
