I most definitely will be there with the wife, have it marked on the calendar.
If you need help before the event during the week for setups or
anything let me know as being retired has its benefits as lots of time on my hands.

Go to the PSC website, http://www.psc-range.com and you can find one or two maps showing more detail on where the club is.

Charles may also have it on cottonfamily.com.

Thanx,
TraCoun
The link wouldn't take me to a valid website - then I noticed you have a comma (,) in your link.

I've only barely heard of PSC on this site, never really drew my interest. It's assumed that everyone knows about it, I guess. The link will be helpful. Thanks, TraCoun

For those that are going and have not tried it, be sure to shoot the Texas Star while you are there. But have a lot of spare ammo to do so. That devil eats ammo.

Think I'd rather go to this than the next IDPA Regional in Conroe..........Might have to make a long weekend trip out of it and go to Galveston again!!

Do you have any suggestions/recommendations on motels?

That's what we're planning - packing up the RV and going for a long weekend!

Sorry, I don't, because I don't know the area well.

Go to http://www.mapquest.com/ and search for 4200 W Parkwood Ave,
Friendswood, TX. That will give you the approximate location and directions.

In the drop-down box that says "Select a Category," choose Hotels and then click Search. That will give you a list of nearby hotels.

Don't click the links under "Online Offers." They're advertising.

Maybe someone who knows the area better can make recommendations.

I don't have much, but I can offer what I found.

Probably the nicest for the buck--but not very close to PSC--is:

Springhill Suites by Marriott Houston Pearland
1820 COUNTRY PLACE PKWY PEARLAND, TX 77584
Starting at $116

Closest (I think) are:

Hampton Inn Houston Pearland
6515 WEST BROADWAY STREET Pearland, TX 77581
Starting at $107

Holiday Inn Express Pearland
1702 N MAIN STREET Pearland, TX 77581
Starting at $104

That Holiday Inn Express sits near a railroad track, so locomotive noise is to be expected.

If you're willing to drive just a bit farther, from the other side of I-45, you have a plethora of choices in Clear Lake and Webster, including anything on NASA Rd. 1 and the Hilton (which has some surprisingly low rates) right across from the Space Center.

Hey, bring the family down a day early, see the Space Center on Friday, attend the TXCHL social Friday evening, and have a full day at PSC on Saturday!

There is a Super 8 on NASA parkway (it would be a 20 minute drive, but the hotel has decent prices). There is also a Best Western in Clear Lake and a Days Inn on NASA parkway (NASA Road 1). There are also a couple hotels in Alvin, about 15 minutes the other way.

I believe there is an RV park in Dickinson, which would be about 20-30 minutes away. I cannot think of any closer.

There is an RV park on I-45 South around Calder Rd (one exit south of FM 518 and two exits south of NASA Parkway/FM 528). I'm not sure of the name or how to find it on-line.

As for other accommodations in the area, I found a trick with Google Maps that works. Just go http://maps.google.com/ and type in hotels near Pearland, Texas. To see others near NASA Rd 1 and I-45, type in hotels near Friendswood, Texas.

And, yep, typing in rv parks near Pearland, Texas works, too. The one Glockenhammer mentioned is the Space City RV Park, 301 Gulf Fwy S., League City, TX, (281) 554-8800. Ain't technology grand?
