OWB vs IWB

If a person wears a 35" waist pair of pants and usuauly carries OWB at work (long t-shirt and outer shirt tail out); What do you do on your waist size to go IWB? I am a jeans, t-shirt and then always a rather nice button type outer shirt, so I would like to be able to tuck in if necessary.
Dress code at work is not a problem - I wrote the thing! Just trying to get an idea without having to test fit alot of new jeans and so forth.

It does depend on the size of the gun and holster and where you stick it and ... But a good rule of thumb is 1 to 2" difference.

The type of hanggun would probably make a diffrance too.
I have only been carry for about a week and I find IWB better for me. And thats with a Beretta 92FS.

Primary carry from 9 to 5 is G27.

Add about 2". Do you carry an mag pouch IWB also?
I'd suggest getting one pair 2" and try that out for a while. The cut, belt loop placement, and pocket placement may also affect your comfort. So I'd stay consistant with the brand and fit to make it easier. After a few washings, the size changes a little anyway.

Fm2 has good advice on the increased waist size. I carry IWB all of the time and have found this holster is great for both tucked and untucked carry:
