Does a Cabela's Walk count?

Carried my .380 concealed yesterday for the first time while shopping for a new holster for the Glock 17. No signs posted and everyone on this forum had already made it clear that Cabela's allowed CHL. Didn't feel weird or self conscious, but I carried inside the inside of my boot, so no printing issues. Plan on carrying the Glock CC over Christmas and it will be OWB concealed. Carry on and stay safe. Merry Christmas!

Do you have some type of holster for inside your boot?

Not a very good one. The holster is really a belt clip holster and my boots are stiff enough I clipped it to the top inside center. It has a thumb snap over the grip for retention. I'm looking for a sticky pocket holster for the.380, but it's a no-name Llama 1911 and you can't even find it listed as a manufacturer. Any suggestions would be welcome. I tried 2 Desantis pocket holsters for .380 yesterday and neither fit the.380 Llama 1911.

Sorry I can't help with any suggestions.
I was given an ankle holster when I purchased a revolver from a forum member.
I tried it on for size, but never carried with it.

Yes, but you get 1/2 credit. Do a Target and you will get 3/2 credit!

My vote is it didn't count. The biggest worry on your first carry is being terrified if your gun is showing, or anyone else notices it, or you reach up to a shelf and it uncovers and the little old lady behind you freaks out and calls the cops and a swat team shows up. Think you circumvented all that panic by carrying in a way that it's impossible for anyone to see no matter the situation. I guess if you only plan on boot carrying it counts.

It's still warm enough for cargo pants (pocket carry easy).

Good point! I was at Cabela's to purchase my safariland owb holster for my Glock 17. I'm planning on a real "wally walk" soon! Still don't think I'll be overly "worried" about little old ladies seeing my gun. Of course, that remains to be seen. Get it-"remains to be seen"!, because it's concealed.

I plan on pocket carry with my .380. Going to get a sticky holster soon for that.

I have used the Sticky for a long time. It works great.

Justin used to make "Trooper" boots, black only with a sewn "pocket/holster" fitting a small semi or J frame Smith, we got the at Milsltoe in Oak Cliff. They worked well especially with bobed hammer spurs or SA.

Thank you for the tip on the Justin "Trooper" Boot. I'm going to check that out.
