Hey guys I have a question anybody has any experience with this gun? I am thinking about getting one for my main carry.
is it good idea ir not?

i was looking into one before my neighbor told me about his sig p938. After shooting his i bought one and was more than happy with it. From my research and readings there are several other pistols about the same size and round count that are better than the nano. sure most will be more money but it's whatever you trust your life and/or your family's life too. if it's possible go to a range that has rentals and try as many as you can out before you buy. You'd be surprised how fast a box of ammo will change your mind about a gun you were dead set on. (don't ask me how i know )

Beretta is a Premium Gun maker, the oldest gun company in the world. I like almost anything Beretta.
Get PX4SC if you are not looking for pocket pistol.

I picked up a Nano to stand in for my XDS .45 while it was being fixed...er, upgraded.

I like the ergonomics, and the fact that it fits my XDS Kholster. Overall I like it and can shoot it well (for me). There were a couple of initial problems:

1. There have been many people who have experienced initial FTF and FTE, especially w/ 115 gr. plinking/training ammo. I broke it in with 124 and 147 gr ammo (~200 rounds) during which I experienced a few similar problems at first. It smoothed out after that (even with the 115 gr. stuff) to the point that I am comfortable carrying it. Check out the Beretta forums for more stories.

2. The front sight post flew off during my break-in process (good luck finding that at an outside range on a rainy day). I called Beretta and they sent me a new sight and hex wrench in 2 days; I installed with Loctite and it's GTG. This was also not an uncommon problem.

I had a coworker that bought a pink Nano for his girlfriend. Comparing it to my Shield, the grip was lengthier (front to rear) and the trigger was not great at all. It felt long, excessive travel/take up, and really bleh. It also has 1 less round than the Shield.

I must say that I have never fired a Nano, but so far I am more than happy with my Sig P938. Give one a try. Renting both to compare is the best way.

The Nano is my EDC weapon. I have been very pleased with it. I have not shot as many rounds as i would like at the range, but have enjoyed shooting it when I have had the time.

I own a Nano and I love it. I have had a Bersa .380 forever. I picked up the Nano to be my carry weapon. I have been to the range with in now 3 times. Each time using 115 gr. fMJ shooting 100-150 Rds each session with absolutely zero issues. My friend has the Shield which was what I initially was set on until I picked up the Nano. I went with OD Green just to be different. Cleaning it is a breeze. Also the the fact that it has no slide lock or safety switches is very nice as well. Just my 2 cents.

where are you located? shoot smart in Grand Prairie has one for rent. you can try it first before you buy cause the trigger is a little heavy and long.

It is nice little carry gun that will let you pack 9mm power into the size of a .380. Shoots great, accurate, no jams, and the sights are nice. Most pocket pistols have crap sights, but the Nano has decent sights. HOWEVER, keep in mind that it does weigh considerably more than a .380. Also, watch some youtube reviews to see how to field strip it. The field strip procedure is a bit more complicated than a Glock, Ruger LCP, or Kel-Tec P3AT.

Before I got laid off in November, my nano was my edc. I have the 8 round extended mags for carry & I bought the mag conversion kits to add 2 rounds to the original 6 rounders that came with purchase so I can practice similar to what I was carrying. It's a great gun for its purpose - concealment, quick deploy from concealment, self defense accuracy within 10yds. It looks a little odd, but the dimensions help to balance the recoil into my palm. I haven't had any feed our fire issues using commercial 115 to 147 standard pressure rounds. Out of the box, the trigger was very heavy, but it's lightened up quite a bit after a couple of hundred rounds. I like that it has a manual decocker so I don't have to pull the trigger to field strip it. Also, I added a talon rubber grip so I could extend my practice sessions - after about 50 rounds, I could really start to feel the recoil in my hand before adding the grip. Now, my shoulders get fatigued faster than my hands.

This is my girlfriends EDC and she loves it. She has shot over a thousand rounds through it at the range and only the first time out did she have any FTF with the white box 9. She is accurate with it out to 15 yards and actually enjoys shooting it over my xdm. I can't say I am crazy about the trigger pull but it shoots nice regardless, plenty good for a pocket pistol but it is considerably more hefty than most. My summer/bug is a ruger 380 and it feels feather light in comparison. We havnt done the mag extension or any customizations to the functionality but did swap furniture from black to od green which was really easy. She appreciated getting the new look. The breakdown is a bit unusual, to me anyways, but she is able to easily do it herself so it's just 'different' I guess. Overall, great gun, she bought it after trying out about a dozen carry pistols, including the sig, and she has fallen in love with beretta because of it. Has bought three more beretta pistols since in fact.

Same problem here, my wife bought a Nano and her front sight blew off after her first 100 rounds....it won't feed 115gr only 124gr. Not sure I trust it for her EDC, wish she would get a G26 instead.

One issue I wonder about with the Berreta Nano is how high the bore axis is above the gripping hand. Compare these other subcompact 9mm from Sig, Ruger, and Kimber and see how much lower the bore axis is.

The higher the bore axis, the more the muzzle flip when shooting.
