Lets start a thread on what and where you carry. Since Im a skinny guy Im limited to where I can carry on my waist without having to wear huge oversize shirts.

Holster brand and type: Varies. Comp-Tac/MTAC, Sparks SS, and Rosen Belt are my most common lately
Gun make and model: G22 or Commander 1911 usually.
Do you change how you carry during the winter or summer months: More than summer/winter, I change WHAT I carry (not so much how I carry) based on how I'm dressing. I tend to do 1911 or G22 IWB in a suit, or jeans/polo for work. I often do the G22 OWB kicking around the house with jeans and a Hawaiian shirt.

Secondary piece is usually a J-frame in my boot or in an ankle holster. Tertiary is almost always a NAA mini-mag in a pants pocket or clipped behind the belt on my left side.

One thing that never changes is that my primary is at the 3:30-4:00 position....so I might have to pause for a fraction of a second to "feel" which gun I'm grabbing, I never have to dig around for "where to grab" even on those occasions when the J-frame becomes primary.

I have noticed that it's much more difficult to effectively and comfortably pack/conceal the wider frame G-22 at 210# than it was for me at more like 250-260#....

Do you change how you carry during the winter or summer months: This will be my first summer carrying so I can't say for sure yet. This winter I usually wore a compression shirt underneath the regular shirt. That worked out well so I will continue that for the summer just in light colors.

I don't get calls much any more. I don't know whether he hardly ever does that now or because I've lost so much weight. I'd look like he had been in a famine or something. Two weeks ago, my doctor told me I had to give up meals.

Do you change how you carry during the winter or summer months: Sometimes, in the winter I can go OWB in a Mojo Gun Leather (forum member MoJoeWrkn) Winged Pancake Holster more often, but I still carry that way in the summer when I have a 2XLT button down shirt on. I also have a Mojo Winged Pancake Holster for my Officer's sized 1911 in 9mm which I have carried only once, but still working the bugs out on that gun.
