during the cooler, ie "non- >90 deg" weather, drapey, vests are perfect over t's and really anything else that is a bit too close. I have black, cream, and grey. plus I have heavier vests for the colder temps in black and brown. and I have jackets/blazers in just about any shade you can imagine. in this hot weather, just wear the losest tops you have, with the biggest prints, that will help. Read the ladies board, we have alot of ideas there.

I've never been asked that question, even when I thought it looked obvious. I've never been asked by a LEO, even when I knew they would notice. I, of course would never answer that question if asked by anyone other than a LEO. However, if someone ever asks you, it might be a sign you need to do a better job of concealment.

Never Tell a stranger. I do recall hearing a story where a greater at acadamy (i think) would ask people as they walked in. My plan is to reply with some way to personal question. like "when was the last time you had......

Just tell them is your PDA. No need to give definition.

I would totally play dumb. There's no need for anyone other than my husband (or a LEO) to know that I'm carrying.

If they asked you failed... concealed means just that concealed

OOps, wrong thread. My bad. :???:

On topic...
I would not admit I'm carrying, that would be tantamount to "failure to conceal" the way I see it.

Look incredulous and demand: "What did you just say? What do you mean by that?...oh man, you have something hanging out of your nose big time"....and shaking head with a disgusted look, just keep walking.

This site is about women and guns, not about cats. But in a way, it's about the cornered cat in all of us. It's about the determination to get away from an attacker if you need to. It's about making the decision to say, "Not me. Not mine. Not today." And it's about the tools to make that decision stick.
awesome site, read every article. thank you. :thumbs2:

If asked, I plan to say "I don't do anything illegal" and walk away. My wife has chosen to say "What are you doing looking at my butt pervert?" I don't agree that simply asking means you didn't do your job. We see bulges from time to time that can make you wonder. It isn't a crime to make those in the know wonder. Anyone else would assume cell phone, insulin pump, etc. Those in the CHL world might then wonder if it is a CW. It is, however, bad form to go from wonder to asking. But that doesn't mean there aren't people rude enough to ask. I mean, with 10 kids, we got all sorts of rude questions in public...which over the years I learned how to turn the question back to them to embarrass them.

It may not be a good idea but it's legal to admit it.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

This thread has a lot of good comments about whether or not you would admit you are carrying. What if the tables were turned?
