Welcome aboard - this is a great bunch of people on this forum.
They are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions or at least point you in the direct to get a good answer.

I believe you said it was a G27 you can cover that little jewel up with your hat as well, and I agree with TAM just keep your holster on. It might sound stupid but I wondered how I could get my gun into my truck without getting in and I just used the hat on my dashboard to conceal the 2 second motion.
