I also wonder if Taurus has changed any of the manufacturing for the better or worse. I still hear a 50/50 mixed bag on these guns.

I have a PT140 that is north of 1000 rounds and not a problem once with it. I have a 24/7 DS also in .40 that has been flawless so far with over 500 in it. I also have a PT 1911 that I just got. Only one box through so far since wally world is hiding all the .45 stuff from me.

BLOT for me is I'm three for three. I know a couple others with similar stories around Spring as well.

I, too, own three different Tauruses of various styles and calibers, none of which has had a single misfire, failure, or breakage of any type. In fact, my .40 S&W 24/7 DS is probably one of the favorite ranges guns I've ever owned.
