Belt Question
New to chl and was wondering if anyone was familiar with the crosstac d-2 gun belt? Is it good? Is it worth the price, how does it compare with the soe cobra duty belt?

Re: Belt Question
Welcome on board.
Are you looking for dress gun belt or range/outdoor belt?
From the video on their website, it looks like well made belt. However, here is some review for leather gun belts:

Re: Belt Question
I am looking for a casual everyday belt I can wear with jeans. I rarely wear suits and usually wear jeans or dockers with a golf shirt.

Re: Belt Question
Look at the Wilderness Instructor Belts. They are tough as nails, strong as a bull and look good with jeans and casual slacks. I have three one in each color.Dallashog wrote:I am looking for a casual everyday belt I can wear with jeans. I rarely wear suits and usually wear jeans or dockers with a golf shirt.

Re: Belt Question
I own three Beltman bullhide belts.carlson1 wrote:Save yourself the hassle and buy beltman.
They are nice enough to wear with a suit. I have one 1 1/2" black, one 1 1/4" black with brass buckles for.
Buy a 1 1/4" brown, tan or cordovan with a chrome or black buckle for the dockers and jeans.
I also recommend the Wilderness Instructor's Belt. I wear them mostly in the summer when I wear shorts.

Re: Belt Question
If it's conceal carry then the color and materials makes less of a difference so comes down to personal preference/style. Just depends if you want leather or nylon. Some of my personal favs are: Nylon: Original SOE low profile EDC belt (good deal at $45), Ares Cobra Ranger' and for leather: Comp-Tac and Consealment Solutions kydex reinforce leather.

Re: Belt Question
Been wearing a Bullhide belt for several months and it's a great gun belt. Reasonably priced with fast delivery and there are many styles to choose from.

Re: Belt Question
Thanks for the input on the belts. I ended up going for a leather belt with the Beltman.
