I use a P95 for my concealed carry. It is a little large & heavy but it is completely dependable and is what I have (except for a S&W 357 with a 4" barrel).

Ruger makes all around good guns and the prices are right up my alley. The P95 is a dependable gun. 15 in the clip and the decocker are nice features. Some would say it is a bulky gun. I'm 6'2" 275 and with a good holster and belt it conceals and wears comfortably. Can't take a nap with it though. I'm sure someone will chime in and suggest for 100 or so more bucks you cab get a S & W or something like that. If you don't wont to spend a little more and don't mind it's size it will make for a good EDC.

OP:

Sure, carry that P95!

Rugers are built like tanks, are dependable, and if you don't have a hammer handy, use the P95's buttplate. :-)

I love my P95 and have thought about trying it as EDC. Mec-Gar makes nice 17 round magazines that fit flush, I actually like those better than the 15 round Ruger mags.

I haven't looked into holster possibilities for the P95 - anyone have suggestions?
