FINALLY!!!
After 60 days from start to finish my CHL just arrived at my mail box and into my hot little hands. I promised my Dad who passed away last year I would get my license. Since I am somewhat disabled he worried a lot. Stop worrying now dad! Yee Haw.

Re: FINALLY!!!
Thanks! I did the Wally World stroll today. Of course it wasn't too difficult because I carry in a fanny pack and I just looked like any regular goober with a fanny pack. I am going to start carrying IWB as soon as I get my Shield. I have an M&P 9c but it's a little too bulky for me. I could carry my Commander style AC 45 in that fanny pack no one could ever tell...hmmmm...I'll do that tomorrow!

If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

Re: FINALLY!!!
As a dad, I have often had to tell my children, "You think I'm stupid, but I'm not". We dads generally give advice, and make decisions, based on hard life experience that allows us to see things a little differently. I don't think your dad was so much thinking "what will..." as much as "what if".
Good for you!

Re: FINALLY!!!
RJ,
I can't agree with you more. My son turns 18 soon and I often sit with him and try to get him to see that what I have to say isn't just dad blabbering. Sometimes it sinks in sometimes he just goes all glassy eyed. I worry a lot but hope he is listening
