Post by Mgm6.0l »

Hello everyone I am new to the forum but have been trolling around for a month or so now. I received my plastic and have had it a little over a month. I decided to get my chl because my fiances father was robbed at gun point here at a Houston gas station and it really opened my eyes concerning saftey. Anyways its nice to have joined this forum and ill be looking forwards to reading up more info on the site.

Welcome to the forum! In my opinion, this is the best source of CHL/Firearms/Self-defense related information on the web today, and I hope you find this forum as helpful as I have.

Lots of great people here, and lots of great advice, from very diverse points of view.

Welcome to the forum, our new friend!

We have gun nuts and gun enthusiasts here - you make the call!

Tell us what gun(s) you own and what your carry style is.

As a new CHL, keep these things in mind:
1. Carry 24/7, every place that's legal.
2. Always carry with a round in the pipe.
3. Do not be cowed into leaving your gun in the car when you see non-compliant
"gun busters" signs. Only 30.06 or 51% signs should make you disarm.

SIA
N. Texas LTC's hold 3 breakfasts each month. All are 800 AM. OC is fine.
2nd Saturdays: Rudy's BBQ, N. Dallas Pkwy, N.bound, N. of Main St., Frisco.
3rd Saturdays: Golden Corral, 465 E. I-20, Collins St exit, Arlington.
4th Saturdays: Sunny St. Cafe, off I-20, Exit 415, Mikus Rd, Willow Park.

Thanks for the welcomes once again.

I IWB carry with a galco summer comfort, but have found that it really isn't to comfy. So today I went ahead and spent the extra coin for a maxtuck holster by whitehat holsters, ive read great things about this hybrid holster. I carry a g27 to most places that I can carry.
