Wally Walk by Accident
I got my card about two weeks ago. As luck would have it my wife needed to go to Wally world, so 20 minutes after I had my plastic I was carrying at Wal-Mart. But it was sheer coincidence because I hadn't found the forum yet and didn't know so many people did the "Wally walk" but while I was walking through there I did notice a two guys with tell tale bulges (no printing though) and thought "wow with so many people carrying in TX I bet there is always a CHL holder or two within shouting distance just about everywhere we go in public. Bad guys are foolish to try anything. Any thoughts? Violent crime rate must be dropping like a rock. How many CHL holders are there? How many apply every month?

Welcome aboard. There are some 410,000 active CHLers in TX. Crime is dropping because living in prison is no fun. At least in Dallas, anyone who is committing a first degree felony will most likely be caught, quickly. In the first 48 hrs...
