Is this holster IDPA legal?

I purchased one from Cabela's sat that looked good but was a small of back model, so went back and came up bust. Well then went to CTD and looked at one of these, I read front to back in the holster rules and didnt see a big red flag.

The only flag I see that is raising this question is in NOT PERMITED
Letter H
" Cutting of the front edge of the holster more than 1 3/4" below breechface or 1" below the rear of the cylinder."

I have about 2" below the breechface maybe 2.5"

I am sure this cuts the mustard, if it doesnt will just have to order one. Seems like a modified pancake model though

The holster pictured is fine for IDPA. The "cut below the breehface" statement refers to a "speedcut" which is a cutout in the top of the holster, not cuttoff at the bottom.

You're good to go. :grin:

That one looks like it would be just fine for IDPA. Be sure you have a good sturdy belt to hold it in place and tight to your body.
