Canadian IDPA

Not seriously considering it, but I noticed there is a major match in Britich Columbia, Canada in August. It made me wonder what, other than a passport, woud be required to get you and your pistol (including hi-cap mags) legally into Canada to shoot the match and then back into the USA. I am guessing it is a ton of prep and paperwork, even more so if flying, and that you may not even be possible with hi-cap mags. It is my understanding that the Canadian government is not big on private gun ownership, nor hi-cap magazines.

Hi cap mags are illegal in Canada. Traveling by land is easier if you want your gun into Canada. Not all handguns are legal too
Best if lying is to contact an exporter FFL who
! Get your pistol into Canada expect fees in the high hundreds

Very true. Stay in Texas and watch it on TV.

Yep, just toying with the idea. Looks to be more hassle than it woudl be worth. However, the 2013 International Cup is in Pureto Rico in January - I wonder.......

Better idea, go with no pistol and borrow on there. So many shooters has so many pistols.
