Having been introduced to Steel Challenge by a friend, I visited one of the matches last weekend down in Waco, and think I want to get involved. But to tell the truth, the 220+ mile round trip from my northwest Fort Worth abode to China Springs and back was a bit of a chore.

Is there anyone regularly shooting Steel Challenge up here in the DFW area? I saw that Dallas Pistol Club has a couple of similar matches on the 3rd and 4th Sundays, but I could only shoot there on match days as a visitor, so that doesn't give me much in the way of practice.

Any of the other ranges in the metroplex set up for /or run Steel Challenge matches?

In 10 years of shooting matches in DFW, I have yet to see a range that runs a Steel Challenge (SC) event.
DPC has been running "Steel Challenge like" matches for quite some time.
It's probably the closest you'll get to SC in DFW.
If you enjoyed the Waco SC, you will like the steel events at DPC as well.
