Well, I went to day. Weather was great, the shooting was fun, and the folks in my squad were excellent shooting companions. Very good day indeed.
Be advised that shooting skills are a perishable commodity. The old saying, "use it or loose it" comes to mind. This applies both to the physical and the mental functions.
It has been at least two months since I have been to a match, and it was easy to tell.
Don't ever believe that you can go shooting every once in a while and be just as good as you were...unless you were really unskilled to begin with.
Go to a match as often as you can. Shooting stuff is fun!
Special thanks to Ryan Wood for stepping in as match director while Mike is helping run IDPA World Championships. Good Job!
