You've got 5 months of serious practice to show your stuff

12 Stages , close to 200 rounds, excellent, repeatable stages with lots of transitions, the very best SOs in the business, Springfield XDs and 1911s on the prize table, along with on site BBQ from an award winning purveyor of beef and pork along with all the fixin's. All this along with 1st rate t-shirts and trophies. We will be done and driving home by 6:30 or earlier.

Note: STI Recoil Masters are now legal.

Interesting. May I compete, I am not an IPDA member, I shot few matches before.

You must be an IDPA member to shoot a major match and have shot a classifier in the year prior to the match.

IDPA allows everyone to shoot their first sanctioned match without being a member but then they require that you be a member.

By the rule book you can shoot one club level match before joing IDPA, however the TX state match is a major sanctioned match. You have to be a classified IDPA member to shoot sanctioned matches such as the TX state match.

Since you say you've already shot a few matches, I don't see what's holding you back. Its pretty simple to meet the requirements and join all the fun. Go to the IDPA website and get your application rolling http://www.idpa.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Then when you get your membership packet look up a local club putting on a classifier match and go "get er done".

Once again CCIDPA put on a GREAT state match !!!

Very smoothly run and outstanding stages. And the weather was about the best you could hope for June in Texas (cloudy with some nice wind).

I had a blast and got a bump -you can't ask for more than that
