''Even though it's [IDPA] an international organization, 70 percent of the members are in the Northeast,'' Murphy [Ted Murphy, Match Director for the 2007 Nationals] said. ''They opened the floodgates by bringing it here.''
Wow. Now that's a statistic I never would have guessed! Seventy percent of all IDPA members live in the northeastern states? Wow. Or did he mean that 70% of the ones who attended the Nationals in Pennsylvania lived in the Northeast?

Thanks for posting the link, Bob. Gordon at least comes home knowing he beat all but one person; he was only 3 3/4 seconds behind SSP division champion Bob Vogel, who was also High Law Enforcement. Gordon also won two of the stages. It looked like Stage 7 ("Can't Get Away from Them") was the only one where he really lost some ground, and to a lesser degree, Stage 13. Something tells me he had a stoppage on Stage 7.

It'd be nice if the stage numbers on the results page linked to a description of the CoF, wouldn't it? The CoF is contained in the match handout that's online (http://www.idpa.com/matchresults/2007_n ... k_2007.pdf), but it would be handy to link directly to a specific stage from the results page.

I also I admit I always enjoy looking at the revolver results; some guy named Miculek ;-) won again, and his margin over his next nearest competitor was...wait for it...over 50 seconds.

Anyone who'd like to look at all the results from Nationals can do so here: http://www.idpa.com/2007_match.asp.

No stoppage on Stage 7. The M&P ran flawlessly during the entire match. I had "brain stoppage" on stages 7 & 13 and Bob took full advantage of it. He shot a great match and deserves the win.
