Re: Thinking about giving IDPA a look - beginner questions
(As a complete beginner to IDPA - I've never even witnessed an event) I am following this message thread so that I can learn more about this subject. But I'm overwhelmed with the TLAs, and cannot follow the conversation fully. Can anyone interpret for us complete newbies?
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Been a long time since I've heard TLA, took me a second.
Is it the ESP/CCP/CDP stuff? Threw me at first too, bit they're divisions inside the game, based on what you're shooting.
http://Www.idpa.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is actually pretty decent, but the forums are worthless.
